Going, Going, Almost Gone! is an urgent plea to protect creatures from man’s insensitivity and greed. The program offers clear explanations of why the survival of sea turtles, humpbacked whales, tiger, bears and other threatened animals is essential to the balance of nature. There are also suggestions about what young people can do to help keep creatures off the extinct list.
Produced in a partnership between HBO and World Wildlife Fund and featuring the voice-over talents of Ed Asner, Jasmine Guy, Phil Hartman, Geoffrey Holder, Judd Hirsch and Marlo Thomas.
